The Global Foodservice Institute (GFI) was created in 2010 to provide a broad range of information and knowledge required to manage and run food service and hospitality operations – in all facets of restaurant operations, healthcare, military, school food services. and more as the common core concept elements are the same. GFI is now led by Richard Weil, MCFP, Principal and CEO of National Restaurant Consultants and a University of Houston Conrad N. Hilton College graduate.
GFI’s partnership with Mr. Ed Manley and the Foodservice Institute (FSI) provides Food Service Professionals with over 90 years combined hospitality industry expertise. Mr. Manley has spent over 30 years certifying the industry throughout the world. Both Ed Manley and Richard Weil were honored with NAFEM’s Doctorate of Foodservice in 2019.
