Sydni Wright joined the Global Food Research program for the inaugural 2022 FERN summer fellowship<\/a> between her sophomore and junior years at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she majors in public health and minors in Spanish. While here, Sydni conducted a literature review exploring East Durham’s food apartheid. She is interested in healthcare management, policy-making, and researching health disparities locally and nationally. She hopes to pursue a career that encompasses all of these interests.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
