Aline is a post-doctoral fellow at the Global Food Research Program. Her research is concerned with food policy and food environments in Latin America and the US. Her work is particularly focused on labeling and communication around ultraprocessed foods, unintended effects of nutrition communication on weight stigma, and food retail environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aline earned her Ph.D in Health Behavior from UNC-Chapel Hill\u2019s Gillings School of Global Public Health. She also holds a Master of Public Policy from Duke University.\u00a0Her previous professional experiences include roles at the Duke World Food Policy Center, Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), and the World Bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
