Hall"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Marissa Hall&nbsp;is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Behavior at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Marissa is a behavioral scientist working on experiments to inform the design of nutrition policies and health communications interventions, with a focus on preventing obesity among Latinx populations. At the Global Food Research Program, Marissa is currently consulting on global nutrition research in Colombia and Brazil. Marissa has expertise in experimental design and analysis, qualitative research, questionnaire design and psychometric testing, and meta-analysis. She teaches Health Behavior Survey Methods in the MPH program. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>When I\u2019m in a time crunch, I love to make\u2026<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;rice and beans with a fried egg and hot sauce on top. Easy and delicious, and can spice it up with guac, sour cream, and cheese.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>My most interesting food habit is\u2026&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>snacking a lot. I don\u2019t like to go more than 2-3 hours without some sort of food and almost never leave the house without a snack on hand. I\u2019ve been this way my whole life!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>The first thing I learned to cook was\u2026<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;probably instant Top Ramen.
