She is deeply passionate about global healthcare systems and improving nutrition access in low-income communities. Her clinical and research experiences in informal settlements in Kenya and South Africa have shaped her commitment to community-based participatory health research, particularly focused on adolescent and child nutrition. Additionally, she has conducted research involving lactating individuals in Switzerland, Lao PDR, and Brazil.
