She obtained her first degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at the National University of Colombia and then moved to the United States in 2012. After obtaining a second degree in Human Environmental Sciences at the University of Alabama, she completed her dietetic internship at Meredith College. Cindy joined the Global Food Research Program as a Social\/Clinical Research Assistant to focus mainly in the international projects, particularly Latin American countries. Having the opportunity to immerse herself in the fascinating world of the dietetics and nutrition in two different countries, has reaffirmed her passion for her career, particularly for the field of research and public health in nutrition.
